Are chillis good for you? – Well, yes they are. Chillies are high in vitamins including Vitamin C, Vitamin A and some calcium. The Chilli pepper also contains capsaicin which helps to reduce congestion and breaks down phlegm whislt also acts like a painkiller and releases endorphins into the body which helps to reduce stress and creates a happy, relaxed feeling.

Chillies also contain anitoxidents that can help multiple functions of the body including circulation, metabolism, immunne system and digestion. Chillies also speed up the metabolism which means you burn fats more quickly and use energy more efficienty.
Chillies have also been linked with having anti-cancer properties and cold/flu preventing suppressants. However this is still to be confirmed by the medical community.
